- What is an Ad Unit?
In Neonscope, an Ad Unit is the space you define in your blog or website layout to display banner ads paid by Advertisers.
- How can I create an Ad unit?
In the “Ad Units” tab, click the + icon in the left corner of the Ad Units table. Fill in all the necessary fields in the pop-up window (type, duration, price and description) and click Save.
- How can I place an Ad unit on my website?
After you created an ad unit in the “Ad Units” table, click the arrow icon in the ad unit you wish to install. In the pop-up window, copy the widget code. Go to your blog or website and paste the widget code on the area where you want the Ad Unit to appear.
- How can I manage my campaigns?
Go to the “Campaigns” tab in your settings. You can see all your pending, current and closed campaigns.
- Can I remove an Ad Unit from my website?
Yes you can, but be careful. Make sure you haven’t previously sold that Ad Unit to an advertiser. If you remove an Ad Unit with any sold campaigns, you will have to return those payments to your advertisers.
- How should I price my Ad Units?
A good way to find your price is to determine how many page views you get every month. The average value on the market is around €1.50 per 1000 page views (CPM). For instance, if your blog receives around 50000 page views every month, you should probably charge €75 for a 30 day ad placement. On the other hand, if your blog is new and you still haven’t gathered any data, you should start with lower prices and work your prices up as you grow and gather your data.
